Sam Hall is a Kent-based writer of fiction and plays. Her play, ‘My Mind Is Free’ was shortlisted for the Human Trafficking Foundation’s Anti-Slavery Day media awards 2016 and Amnesty Edinburgh Festival: Freedom of Expression Award 2017). ‘Sandcastles’ was longlisted for the Theatre Fest West Award 2016. Sam’s stories have been previously published in Alphabet Soup, Litro, Emerging Worlds, Thanet Writers and in several anthologies. She has an MA in Creative Writing from City University, London. She is the managing editor of Confluence – a Kent based literary journal.
