Ross Alexander is a Scottish author who writes crime and thriller novels and short stories. He started writing in his thirties and completed his debut novel ‘Alive’ in 2012, sharing it with family, friends and colleagues before being encouraged to self publish in 2016. His second novel ‘Christie’s Early Cases’ is a collection of short crime stories based around Edinburgh Detective Inspector Joanne Christie. During the lockdown of 2020, Ross wrote ‘Five Against One’, a full crime novel starring DI Christie.

Ross has also written a number of short stories, some of which are available to read at his website. One of these stories ‘Speak To Me’ was included in an anthology in aid of Mental Health UK.

He lives in East Lothian and is married with two grown-up daughters.
