Benedict Jeffries is a writer living in the deep interior of the American continent, where he occasionally has days when he sees more bison than people. He is an academic who teachers philosophy and political theory and has written on those topics, but The Wedding Column Murders is his first novel. He has begun work on this next novel, about a group of American Sherlock Holmes enthusiasts who travel to an English country house where they begin to be murdered. Like The Wedding Column Murders, it will be a traditional mystery with comic elements.
